More Ski Shenanigans!

So, day 6 and we’ve seen it all…..snow, sun, wind, rain and blizzards…and we’ve loved every minute!

Action packed week with not only 5 hours of ski school every day, but also an action packed evening entertainment programme.

With the vivid images of last night’s ‘Bad Taste’ evening still fresh in our minds, we woke up to some challenging weather conditions. Horizontal blizzards and gusting winds made for exciting skiing, but nothing our intrepid pupils couldn’t cope with……of course!

Today was assessment day for some of our GCSE PE students and we put them through their paces with chief examiner Ms Kraus passing on her top tips and honing their skills.

Tomorrow is ski test day and we are confident of fab performances from everyone as the progress made has been phenomenal. For the first time in ski trip history, not a minute missed by anyone all week which epitomises the positive attitude and determination of this group to make the most of this wonderful opportunity.

Our daily awards nominations for ‘Wipeout,’ ‘Wally’ and ‘Bad Admin,’ have provided plenty of laughs with shared tales of the day, slapstick comedy all round….and that’s just the staff!!

We can’t fail to mention our top rep, the one and only Tom Ash (aka ex Student & Ashton Park Sports Centre Manager), who, along with the Skibound team have made us feel very welcome and loved once again. Sporting an impressive goggle tan and slightly thinner we feel, he can now cut a few mean turns on the slopes!

We are due to return back at Bristol Airport at 11.20am on Saturday.

Last day tomorrow sadly, kinda like it here……
