KS3 Resource Base

All students, regardless of their starting points, are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum. In the Resource Base, we mirror the curricula taught to mainstream students with an increased focus on core literacy and numeracy skills. Lessons are complemented by individual and group intervention, Speech and Language Therapy and Extra-Curricular Activities.

In Key Stage 3, students are taught English, Maths, Humanities and PSHE in the Resource Base. They join their mainstream peers for Science, PE, Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology.
