Apollo house prefects visit Penny Brohn house

On Monday 26th June 2019, the newly appointed Apollo house prefects visited Penny Brohn house to gain a further understanding of how the trust support people living with cancer. After a tour of the facilities and grounds by members of their staff, students took part in a mindfulness session, to help manage stress, particularly useful for the students who are in the middle of their GCSE’s. The visit ended with the passing over of a cheque totalling £1043.50, which was raised during the recent Fun Run event and the non-uniform day held in school last term.

Can I take this opportunity to thank all the students, family members and friends who helped contribute and take part in these events, which help support this fantastic local charity.
