Curriculum – Key Stage 3 – Computing/ICT

Computer Science is a very fast changing discipline. Our intention is to prepare pupils to know today’s technology, or to know today’s programming styles, but in particular to learn tomorrow’s technology.
Teaching Computer Science is not only teaching coding, or a specific programming language, but also, to teach some fundamental principles or concepts of computing and how to apply those fundamentals. We see fundamental principles as algorithms and logic, linking to
problem solving and logical thinking.
