FULL SCHOOL CLOSURE

As you will no doubt have heard all schools in England will close on Friday the 20th of March
to all students until further notice, with the exception of the children of key workers who
are crucial to the national COVID-19 response as well as key students needing additional
support.

We respectfully ask that you ONLY send your child to school if this is your only
option and there is no safe alternative. The in-school provision is the last resort for
ensuring that key works can continue to contribute to the national response. All
children should be socially distancing in the same way that adults are.

We have sent a Google form via text message to all parents to enable them to tell us their
need for childcare during the week of the 23rd of March. The school’s intention is to open to
meet this challenge as long as we have sufficient staff to do so safely. A follow up form will
be sent weekly after this point. We are also aiming to provide this service over the Easter
holidays. If you would like to discuss in more detail the option of your child continuing to
attend school please contact: keyworkersupport@ashtonpark.net

If you need to update any contact details please email: mail@ashtonpark.net with your
child’s name and tutor group and the information you need to amend.

Click here for information about how we will continue to support our young people
during this closure. We will continue to update you all regarding the ever changing position.
We thank you for your ongoing support of the school at this challenging time.
