Charging Policy

Ashton Park School have a detailed charging and remission policy. A full copy can be obtained by contacting the school. The school will at times, request parents to make a voluntary contribution to student visits. There are however circumstances where financial support can be provided.

Remission on visits will be considered for pupils whose parents are in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

  • Universal Tax Credit
  • Income Support
  • Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (IBJSA)
  • Child Tax Credit – Providing that Working Tax Credit is not also received
  • Guaranteed elements of State Pension Credit
  • Support under part VI of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999

Or any other extreme hardship deemed appropriate by the Headteacher.

The remission will be proportional to the visit cost and the total amount received by any student will not exceed £100 per pupil per academic year.
