An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Examinations Officer to join our busy team, the role will be key in supporting the smooth running of all examination processes within the school.
As leader of the Examinations department and with ultimate responsibility for all aspects of exams (including mocks), invigilation staff and the department budget, the ideal candidate will be logical, calm under pressure, have good attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with parents, pupils and senior staff. Ideally educated to degree level and with high levels of literacy and numeracy the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent prioritisation and organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail. A high level of IT proficiency is particularly important, and experience working in an exams department would be desirable.

It is a member of the Gatehouse Green Learning Trust with Redland Green Secondary School and 3 partner primary schools. Your contract of employment is directly with Gatehouse Green Learning Trust (“the Trust”). Your main place of work will be Ashton Park School but you may be deployed to work at any school within the Trust and carry out those duties that may be reasonably required in relation to such deployment.

As Cover Supervisor, to provide a cover service for absent teachers, supervising

classes/groups of students and ensuring that they carry out the work tasks set by the teacher with designated responsibility.

The role is currently based at Redland Green School however in future could be based at a
different school within the Trust or a separate location in close proximity to the Trust’s
schools. Some travel between the Trust’s sites will be required.
